Wildstar stepped into the apprentice's den, knowing full well that all of the apprentices were sleeping. It was a chilly dawn, and Wildstar felt relieved when she entered the warm den. She needed to train her apprentice, Ripplepaw, this morning, and since none of the other apprentices had mentors yet, she had to have them come as well...
It was going to be a busy morning. "Wake up, everyone!" She meowed not too loudly, and not too soft. "Do you want to become warriors or not? Warriors don't sleep in!" She highly doubted she could handle all of them herself, but she had to try, no? Besides, the dawn patrol was already taken care of.

Fallenpaw I'm falling apart Apprentice Of SplashClan [/i][/u][/b]
Fallenpaw's dreams shattered as a loud yowl broke threw to him. Growling softly he climbed to his paws sleeply, and yawned. Licking his fur, he started to take clops of moss from his pelt. Dangling one white paw with black spots on it, out from his tongue. His nose wrinkled up as he looked up at his leader. His eyes rounded in a emotionless smile. His nose wrinkled as he trotted over to Ripplepaw and Minnowpaw, "Hurry up lumps of fur," He mumbled gently reaching his paw out to tap there backs. Fallenpaw, yet again, felt the pain rise into his throat as he looked at the two siblings, lying side by side. Sighing Fallenpaw walked away took a deep raggy breath and emotionly smiled at Wildstar.

Colors raced across the apprentice tom's vision, green, blue, brown. In the ceter of the blur of hues was a mouse, big and plump, nibbling on a seed. His heart was pumping hard, in a steady rhyme. Paws landing on the soft forest floor went unheard, as Ripplepaw crept closer to the mouse. A tail-lengths away, the mouse disappeared, the colors did, and it went balck. The thumping of his heart was replaced by a voice, one too reconizable.
His mentor. Wildstar was waking the three up for apprentice training, but he was so tired. But his dark gray ears pricked in alarm as the she-cat said warriors didn't sleep in. That was his dream to one day become warrior. After all, how could he ever serve his clan in the best way ever, as a leader or deputy one day, if all Ripplepaw is was a lazy apprentice.
"I'm getting up, keep your pelts on." he grumbled, slowly getting to his paws. Next to him was Minnowpaw, the white and black apprentice was snoring loudly, she must still be sleeping. How a cat could sleep through their noisy clanmates trying to wake them up, he didn't know. But as far as his sister was concerned, anything was possible. The she-cat twitched and rolled over, and Ripplepaw gave a mew of disappointment. One day, when Ripplepaw got his warrior name, Minnowpaw would still be cleaning dens. That vision gave hima smile, as the tom went and stood infront of Wildstar. "I'm ready!" he purred. [/blockquote]

Smiling back at her apprentice, Wildstar skillfully hid her self-doubt, as she had for her entire life. "Wonderful. But what of your sister? She needs to come as well." She mewed, pointing her nose in Minnowpaw's direction. As soon as there are enough suitable warriors, all of you will gain mentors. She thought determinedly. When she was made SplashClan deputy, she was sure that her Clan would be doomed under her rule. She still does, but not as strongly as before.
She thought that lowly of herself, her self-esteem practically zero. But despite her secret thoughts, she makes sure to keep her Clan strong at all times. She has almost starved herself plenty a time, convinced that she must keep her Clan fed instead of herself. She was incredibly devoted, even if that meant sacrificing her own needs. Thank StarClan for her long fluffy fur, or someone surely would have noticed how thin she was long ago.
A part of her wanted someone to notice her distress... She nodded to Fallenpaw, a bit unnerved by the lack of emotion on his face. "Good morning."

"I'll catch up in a bit, leave me alone and let me sleep you mouse brained fools." Minnowpaw mumbled, flattening her ears and putting her head between her paws. Yesterday, the she-cat hunted and patrolled all day, and climbed trees with her brother. All she wanted to do today was rest. Ripplepaw nosed his sister with his balck nose, and when she didn't respond, he shrugged.
"She'll catch up with us, she always does." He mewed, fluffing his fur up a bit in jelously. Why couldn't he ever sleep in, whenever he tried, he felt bad and woke up. But Minnowpaw did it so easily. [/blockquote]

Wildstar frowned at Minnowpaw. Taking a step forward, she sharply prodded the she-apprentice. "Warriors don't sleep in, no matter how much they want to. You must be ready when you are needed. You can't sleep in while another Clan invades." She told her, her dark brown eyes burning into the apprentice's pelt. There would be none of this. The only time a healthy cat could sleep in was when, well, they weren't healthy. "Why can't you be more alert and up-to-the-challenge like your brother, Ripplepaw?" Wildstar said more firmly this time, knowing this would probably get some kind of a reaction.

Minnowpaw's eyes opened right away, and narrowed into green slits of anger. How dare the leader say to be more like her brother, the goody two paws? And up to the challenge, Ripplepaw would run and hide at any sign of danger, but her? No way. "How dare yoyu compare me to him?" She mewed angrily, and Ripplepaw blinked twice in amusement. Wildstar almost mrrow'd in amusement. She knew that would work. "I am leader, I can do pretty much whatever I want to." Her dark brown eyes shined with mirth. This was the happiest she had felt in days. Being around those younger than herself always cheered her up somehow. "And Ripplepaw is certainly more ready than you are, seeing as he got up faster than you. I'd say he is more up-to-it than you are." Ah, how she loved spending time with the apprentices. It was never a dull moment with them. Turning, she began to exit the den. "Come, if you want to be granted permission to skip tending to the elders today." [[OOC;; lol I know there aren't any elders yet. But let's just pretend... xP]]

Fallenpaw I'm falling apart Apprentice Of SplashClan [/u][/size]
A low growl formed in Fallenpaw's chest. "You always forget about me." He was so quiet when he said this he was barely heard. Nose and face became blank again, looking at his leader for the permission to follow. Ever since he had found out about his parents, he knew he was a forbidden mess of a cat. 'Urge, why does everyone like everyone but me.' He thought and looked at the other apprentices. Sitting on his henchs he wrinkled his nose in disgust. The little looked alittle bewild when she had send good morning to him. He felt his heart flip than, but now he was being dragged back into his never ending hole of blackness, and loneliness.

Wildstar came bursting into the apprentice's den without warning, commanding the cats to wake up, Darkpaw didn't hesitate. he did as he was told and got up, his nest was near the back of the den, where it was easy for no cat to see him, seeing as his pelt was the blackest of all, he blended in with the shadows. his blue eyes sweep over the cats that are getting up. the leader's favorite apprentice was up first, Ripplepaw, then Fallingpaw got up, he was as quiet as Darkpaw could be. minnowpaw refused to get up. The leader said something that through the she-cat for a loop. Angry snarls were thrown left and right, he just walked to the entrance and sat farther from the cats. His eyes rested on Wildstar.
He flicked his tail impatiently as the leader and apprentice fought back and forth. they acted like such kits sometimes. he nodded his head to ripplepaw and fallingpaw.

Dappledpaw was chasing a squirell, hunger sharpened her claws and gave her teeth aim. the squirell struggled under her and when she was bout to bit into the squirell's fsoft brown fur, a sound rang out, ricishaing off trees. She raised herhead imediatly, the squirell rushing off and climbing a tree, not turning back. She gave a low growl, but then when she blinked she saw the apprentice's den instead of the woods. Wildstar was walking out, the other apprentices following. She jumped up, eyes wide and shook herself breafly, racing out. Her fur was smooth, except for one side which was moss-flecked and scrubby. She sat down and groomed her wild dappled fur, and her belly growled like she had in her dream, she was always influanced by it in her dreams, well sometimes. Her dreams came more vivid, instead of a haze of stars like in her kit-hood she could see outlines of bright cats, and full moon above their heads. She couldn't seee what colors there where, it was to bright to have any color at all. Then, before she would wake up with wide eyes and full of energy that had seemed to have flooded from the cats, she could smell somthing, to hazey in kit-hood but now sharper, more defined. She finished with her thoughts still buzzing in her head, and her eyes seemed more focused then before and her ears pricked, as if something was coming up, very important. She sat with her tail around her paws, and she glanced over at Fallenpaw. She thought, "What a pretty name. But, such a sad time." She wished they could've been friends, but she couldn't quit get to her. Then she glanced at Darkpaw, about a fox-lenght away from Wildstar. Then, she watched Wildstar, waiting for orders or duties.

Now standing outside the apprentice's den, Wildstar watched the apprentices carefully, watching their interaction with eachother, how alert they were. She smiled at Dappledpaw and Darkpaw in greeting, glancing once at the ever-silent Fallenpaw. "Now that you're all up," she said in a pleasant tone, "What do you think we should practice today? Hunting, battling, or patrolling?" Whichever one got the most votes would be the winner.

Dappledpaw thought carefully, definatly not battle-training on a such a good day, patrolling might be not the best Idea." She looked at the tired Rippledpaw, even though he stood straight, his eyes gave away the ever-so-silent sleepiness. "Lets go hunting!" Dppledpaw raised her head from Rippledpaw and mewed, "Lets go hunting." Her belly growled at that and she growled inwardly, but kept her stare to Wildstar, eyes filled with wisdom no other apprentices could, or would get intil they where older, she just happened to explore.

Fallenpaw I'm Falling Apart Apprentice Of SplashClan [/i][/u][/b] Fallenpaw's eyes traveled towards Dapplepaw, and than back to his leader. Wildstar had just asked what they would like to do, and Fallenpaw's eyes closed for a moment to think. "Yes hunting sound.... cool." Fallenpaw mumbled louder than his actual voice was. His eyes roamed to apprentice's den and notice the full load of apprentice. Licking his paw, he touched his nose to it, and stood there for a few minutes. After those few minutes he drew his tongue gently over his soft white fur with black spots.

Darkpaw watched as Dappledpaw made her entrance. Darkpaw never slept in, he always woke up at the crack of dawn. ready for whatever his mentor is gonna throw at him. He gave a nod to Dappledpaw and started following Wildstar out the den. His eyes glazed around the clearing, life was stirring here in camp. The deputy was sending a two patrols out, one for hunting and the other for patrolling. Darkpaw couldn't wait till he was a warrior, he had plans to make his clan proud! He wasn't an ambitious cat, just very determined. He wants to show cats that under all this fur, there is a hero waiting. Well, that kinda sounded cheesy, but oh well.
Darkpaw was knocked out of his train of thought when Dappledpaw suggested to go hunting. He really didn't care what they did, just as long as he gets to show the leader what he is made of, and that he will be ready in a couple of moons to become a warrior. he was 8 moons old, he had 3 more moons to go till he is the right age to be a warrior, and if his mentor thinks he is ready. he kept silent through all of the bickering about what to do, it's better if he didn't put in his opinion, nobody cared about it anyway.
