Minnowpaw grumbled to herself, muttering swears under her breath. "Fighting, definality." She mewed, and Ripplepaw nodded. Battle training always proved to be fun and interesting. [/blockquote]

Dappledpaw flicked her ears, hopefully they wouldn't get to. She hated battle training, even if if was for a fox. She wanted to help not to hurt. Fighting was so unnessesary to her, cats have claws and teeth right, but instead of fighting maybe hunting would be a better use. She sighed inwardly, not a lot of cats likeher opinoin but oh well, she would be more powerfull than them one day, one day hopefully soon. She didn't know why or how, it was just a feeling that stirred in her heart. Maybe, just maybe she would be even more powerful than deputy? No cat is more powerful than a leader, but she didn't want to be leader. Well, she'd figure it out on day, but today she was a six-moon-old apprentice not eager to fight, not eager to patrol, not even that eager to hunt. "Wow, a real mess up." She thought to her self "My StarClan every cat wants to learn to fight but me? What sort of messed-up freak of a cat am I?" She'd learn, but she'd have to face fighting, it was natural. She about opened her mouth, but desicided not to. There where times to use your tounge, and to hold it. Cats would just think she is even wierder, a cat not wnating to use her claws.

Fallenpaw's eyes locked onto the leader's tail as he trotted towards her. His eyes followed until he dropped his eyes to touch the ground. Nosing his way towards his leader, and to stand beside Dapplepaw. He looked at the she-cat and he meowed. "I hope you don't mind, me agreeing with you about hunting...." His eyes closed for a moment. He had never even ment to talk to the she-cat, he just senced that the she-cat was being left out. Looking away his pelt just touched the she-cat's. Eyes opened again and he looked at his leader.

Darkpaw saw Dapplepaw's ear twitch in annoyance as all the cats chose battle training, Fallenpaw went over and agreed with her, But darkpaw stuck to his spot, avoid any conversation possible, No way did he want to get involved in an argument, thats the only reason he never made friends anyway, and plus no cat was brave enough to approach him. they thought of him as big and bad, that one day he was going to go on a killing spree. He overheard some Elders talking about him and how he was a very strange and dark cat, Darkpaw just ignored them. he knew he had no ambitions, he had no desire to kill, just to defend his clan and be the best warrior he could possibly be. Darkpaw had always wondered what the leader would name him, probably something like Darkfall or Darkshade. Those are really cool names though, he doesn't care what she names him, just as long as he becomes a warrior. he stood farther off from the others, getting a little to impatitent. he burried his emotions and kept his face blank.

Dappledpaw just giggled, "Why would I dislike that eh?" She smiled, looking at Fallenpaw, then to Darkpaw who sat alone, his face blank. Her smile evaperated and she tough. "Poor Darkpaw, why no one likes him is just beyond me." She hated to see cats alone, scarred, sad angery, or hurt especialy. She hated that instinct to try to help injered cats from other clans no matter what. Maybe that was good, but as a warrior a bad instinct.
(Sorry, sucky post. >.<)

Fallenpaw looked at Dapplepaw, and laughed quietly, as she giggled. He watched her turn to look at Darkpaw, softly, Fallenpaw meowed gently, before the leader could do anything. Fallenpaw whispered to Dapplepaw, "If you don't mind, I'll go stand by Darkpaw... you can come." Building up his courage, he took a deep breath and started to walk towards the tom. His ears sprang up and throat dry with fear. Yet his face gave nothing away. Stepping three steps closer he stopped, mouth ready to yowl for help if needed. Fallenpaw turned swiftly and sat down next to him. Nodding gently he looked straight one trained eye on the apprentice.

Unsuspected things happen all the time, and today was one of those days for Darkpaw, Dapplepaw sent him a sad look and Fallenpaw came over to sit by him, the cat actually had the guts to approach him. Darkpaw studied his face as he came near, it was blank, but he could sense a little fear coming from him. He sat down beside the black apprentice, a look of surprise crossed his face before it went away, he blinked a few times and opened his mouth, ready to speak, but he closed it shut. Why was he shy? he shouldn't be, he didn't want to be. He looked at Fallenpaw and nodded, "Urm....Hi? he mewed. it was weird hearing his voice for once, Uh, sorry, i just never....talk to cats that much. I'm not good at starting conversations. and admitted and looked down to the ground and shuffled his paws.

Dappledpaw's face lightened up and she walked over ot Darkpaw, tail in the air and seemed no care at all. She sat down beside the two and mewed, "Good morning Darkpaw, how is your uh, morning so far?" She asked, excitment in her vioce, and so much energy she thought she could fly to the moon and back at least five times. Yet th only ways she showed it was in her vioce, quivering only the slightlest bit. Her eyes glew with happiness and curiousity, like they almost always did. Her thoughts drifted back to her dreams with starry cats who would sometimes give her energy, but as she noticed herself starting to daydream, which only she noticed, she snapped back.

Wildstar nodded. "It looks like we'll be hunting, then. Anyone else want to throw their vote in?" She looked around herself, in case she had missed somebody. She was sure she must have missed someone, but she didn't know why she was so certain of that.
Oh, right. Her ridiculously low self-esteem. Of course. I wonder, will anyone ever notice my self-doubt? She thought, but then quickly shrugged the stupid thought off. No one had noticed before, why now? They all thought she was their determined, courageous leader who knew exactly what she was doing. She had no clue. She just did what she felt to be right, and it seemed to be going pretty well so far.
She just hoped it would stay that way...

----WE SHOULD WAIT FOR RAIN AFTER THIS POST ---- Fallenpaw gloped and sighed. "Hi, and yeah I can understand your tension." He meowed very softly, after Dapplepaw walked in. His eyes lingered from each cat around, him than to his leader. His eyes tring to locate hers. He had always be an out-cast. Being a half-clan cat and also the son of the old Splashclan medicine cat. He even had a sister in Breezeclan. Looking at his leader, his eyes burning with determinetion, of becoming the best Splashclan warrior ever, would be a secert of his. In his heart, no one would ever cheer his name. Not even his step-parents had bother to congratelate him by becoming an apprentice. And now as an apprentice, his true mother and father dead, his sister in Breezeclan. Fallenpaw was alone. He got to his paws, shaking his pelt slightly, waving his tail ingood-bye to Dapplepaw and Darkpaw he started towards the leader. Eyes glued on her. He would have a few choice words.

Lilypaw had kind of been standing in the croud, banking out. She was still half asleep, tired so much with all of the new duties on her shoulder.s She heard someone mention hunting, and her ear pricked up. She had never gone hunting before! She had tried to learn a few fighting moves as a kit, but in vain. She was never the biggest, never showed the most promise, never learned the fastest. She was always at the end of the line, the last to get any benefits, and that didn't change on the small body she got. It looked like all she'd be doing her whole life was sorting herbs, or stay in the nursery.
But she'd show them. She'd show them all how great she could be some day. That was the only thing keeping her going, was the thing her mother had told her time after time. 'You get as much from this clan as you put into it'. Lilypaw had lived based off of that statement, but it hadn't held it's end of the promise yet.

Dappledpaw waved good-bye, with her tail, to Fallenpaw who walked toward Wildstar. She thought of confronting Wildstar. Right then and there. She would have to speak up soon, she had made her decision. Her dream had been more vivid and real when she had been the cat sleeping nearest to the medicine cat den. Her choice was to be made right then and there, she was going to be a medicine cat. Determination splashed her face like a river splashing stones and her neck fur looked ready to bristle. Her dappled tail was wrapped tight around her paws and her head held high to Wildstar's eyes. She breathed heavily and and stood up, her tail flicking over herself like a squirell. She hesitated for a heart-beat, "Am I ready?" but pushed the thought out of her mind, "I am." Walking swiftly toward Wildstar, who looked ready to walk away, she stepped up to her with wide leafy green eyes. She felt awed for a moment, her leader, right there and she was going to talk to him first. She flicked her ears, noticing Fallenpaw was next to her, looking up at Wildstar. "Wildstar?" She asked in an almost small vioce. :Modified: Ok. Last post until he gets here.

minnowpaw gave a huge scowl when Wildstar announced they would be hunting. She got up from her sleep just to hunt? That was no fair, and she wasn't happy about. Ripplepaw shared his sister's disappiintment, but didn't show it. "Are we just going to stand around?" Minnowpaw mewed, "Or are we actually going to do something. Don't tell me you woke us up for no reason." Ripplepaw flicked Minnowpaw's ear with his tail, she didn't need to be nasty about it. [/blockquote]

Wildstar kept back a sigh of exhasperation as Minnowpaw snarked at her. Nodding slightly, she meowed, "Quite right. Let's go." She turned and led the way out of camp, not bothering to check if they were following. If those apprentices were in their right minds, they would follow.
