Rosethorn walked beside her mate to the loners area. She knew she'd have to eat soon and rest a bit with expecting kits. Though this wasn't a long trip it was for a she-cat expecting kits. Even though her belly was still flat she knew very soon she'd be showing. "you sure this was the right choose?"she meowed to her mate rubbing her pelt against her mate.

"Always." Blackwhisker purred eyes glowing as he leapted forward he turned and wiggled his tail play-fully. "Here I'll be right back. I'll get you a rabbit, or a vole." He said and disappeared. It took moments when he finely got the mouse, and returned it to Rosethorn. Smiling he dropped it and started to sniff a old fox's den. "Here, it's very faint." He asked looking at the small hole.

Rosethorn nodded and finished the rabbit. She then got to her paws and fallowed her mate to the whole. She scented the air to make sure the fox didn't come back. She went into the whole and lyed down on the floor of the den and looked at her mate. "Come lay down beside me please."she meowed. She wanted to be close to her mate and the father of her unborn kits. "Thank you. Me and your kits need you."she meowed to her mate sighing.

Lightly pushing threw the smaller hole, he entered the large part of the foxes den. "Well this is very warm. The kits will like this." He purred and licked his mates ear. Nosing his away closer he sighed softly, it was no longer a worried sigh it was a happy sigh. Licking his paw he drew it over his muzzle.

Rosethorn nodded her head at her mate. She licked her mate's ear back. "They will like it here. It's nice and warm here. But I think they love it where they are right now."she meowed to her mate with a sigh. she then layed her head down againmst her mate's shoulder.

Blackwhisker purred and touched Rosethorn's ear with his nose. Licking his lips he yawned and curled up to sleep. It would be along night, his first away from his clan mates, but the first with his mate. The cat that truely mattered. Sighing he licked his lips and narrowed his eyes and and finely closed them.

A few weeks later.....thought maybe we should have some time go by. lol.
Rosethorn woke a few weeks later after her mate and herself left the two clans. She was now showing that she was expecting kits. She could also feel the kits kicking and moving around inside her. She gave a small sigh and looked at her swallon belly then at her mate. She moved closer to her mate and licked him. "I'm sorry, I made you leave your clan."she meowed to her mate sighing. She then toke her mate's tail and placed it on her swallon belly and purred as the kits kicked and looked at her mate to see how he'd take at feeling his kits kick inside her.

OOCCould they have like four kits and one be still born.  then that can be the reason why they head for the clans. ICBlackwhisker meowed, "Nah as long as we are together." He purred, and once his tail was placed on Rosethorn's belly, and a small kick formed. "Oh my, they must be ready to be born." Eyes rounded he sighed and looked at Rosethorn loving-ly. Sighing. "I'll be back sweet, Riversong will be here in moments, she can't stay long, maybe two days." Smiling softly he licked her nose. "And Rosethorn. I love you."OOCUmm you don't mind Riversong joining in my next post right?

Rosethorn then sighed and looked at her swallon belly then at her mate. "I love you too."she meowed then saw her mate leave. She knew it'd not take long but she didn't think it was now. But that was till she felt really strong pains in her belly. She wanted to scream but kept quite and just gave small whimpers waiting for her mate to come back with Riversong. "hope they come back soon. This hurts and i'm scared, and can;t do this on my own."she whispered to herself so no one could hear her. She moved forther into the whole and lyed on her side and started to cry a little at the pain.

Blackwhisker looked at Riversong and the two trotted side by side towards the den. "So clan life is good?" He asked softly, than heard his mate mumbling. "Rosethorn, Riversong... Oh my starclan!" He gasped as he notice his mate breathing hard. "Rosethorn's having a problem Riversong. Your a she-cat what's wrong with her!" He was both scared and shocked.

Riversong trotted in a sniffed the air. She dropped the herbs beside Blackwhisker and shooed him out of the den. "She's delivering you mouse-brain." Very quietly, Riversong looked at Rosethorn. "When did the pain start?" Her voice was calm and ready for anything. Very sleeply, she turned to Blackwhisker. "If anything was to go wrong, who would you like me to save?" She wasn't just asking Blackwhisker, she was asking Rosethorn.

Rosethorn looked at her mate then at Riversong. "the kits."she was able to meow. She just cried in pain and then closed her eyes and opened them again. "Once, he went to get you, was when the pain started."she was able to meow. She looked at her mate again then went back to Riversong. "It really, really hurts."she wailed to Riversong, as she kinda forgot her mate was near by. She was just in too much pain to really payataion to him.

Riversong's eyes widen, than she turned to Blackwhisker, "After the birth of the kits, she'll need to return to the clans..... I'm sorry Blackwhisker, she needs a medicine cat." Sighing gently, She pased Rosethorn, milk giving herbs. "Eat theses. We'll leave for the clans tomorrow, after you rest after you have the kits." Sighing gently, she waited for it to begin..

Blackwhisker twitched his whiskers and waited softly at Rosethorn's head. "It's okay, it'll pass..." He licked his mate's head softly, and turned to eye Riversong, than back at Rosethorn loving. He settled down so he could fit more into the whole.

Rosethorn ate the herbs or ate what she could eat. She whimpered in pain and wanted it to end. She started to push once the first kit came. After a while the first kit was born. Fallowed by the secound kit. She then rested a bit before she'd have to push again. She of course breathed and whiled in pain. She wanted this to end.

Riversong pushed the first til to Blackwhisker and ordered him to lick the fur the wrong way. Very quickly she licked the next kit, and mumbled. "There is one more Rosethorn, your doing great!" She explained quickly and pushed the second kit to Blackwhisker. "Lick both of them, keep them close to you, while the last kit is being born." Very quickly Riversong added. "Give these to her, when I say so. They'll stop the bleeding." Than quickly she reached and pushed on Rosethorn's belly as a spazz went threw.

Blackwhisker did as he was told. Licking the kit's fur, watching them. He was both shocked and understanding, but mostly shocked.

Rosethorn wanted to pull away when Riversong pushed on her belly but cause of the spazz that went through her she couldn't. SHe pushed once the third kit came. The third kit was born, but even with the third kit born she still felt pain giving birth. This was her first litter but even she knew this pain should have stopped after the third kit was born. "Their's a fourth kit."she wailed to Riversong.
