//a BEEAUTIFUL day

[Rain]

With a laugh of joy, Stormfall bounded across the moors. The grass was swaying beneath his paws in time with the wind, the sun shined down making it nice and warm, and the sky was a perfect blue. How anybody could be feeling down on this day, he didn't know. His white and tabby fur rippled with each movement he made, as Stormfall made his way towards the brook.

Leaning down, the tom looked into the water. He could see his reflection, his amber eyes gazing back at him With a smile, Stormfall dipped his paw in, shattering his reflection, before taking a drink.

Walking toward the brook with smile on her face the blazign white she cat walked softly and excitedly. Her four kits trailed behind her, runnign at one instant, than trotting the next. Leafkit stood on two back legs, Lightkit crouched underneath her. She was about the go down, when Snowykit lept on her, makign her tumble sideways. Lightkit purred and raced over to jump on Leafkit to, but Frostkit lept on him to, squeling as they tumbled over and over again. Dancingsnow, the bigger white one and thre mother of the kits stopped and purred,
"Come on, the brook is only a few steps away. We better hurry while the weather lasts!" She climbed up the slope, her four kits racing before her and jumping into the shallows on accident.
"Mommy you didn't tell me it was cold!" Lightkit whimpered and Leafkit shook herself, once she got out of the water, getting Lightkit even water. Dancingsnow sighed and lept to the shore, about a fox-lenght away and picked up Lightkit, setting him on the shore and started lickign him. Only then did she realise Stormfall was there.
"Stormfall!" Frostkit squelled and raced toward him, Snowykit racing after her.

Stormfall watched in amusement as he watched the kits. Kits were so funny, no matter what kind of mood any cat was in, watching a kit for a few heartbeats would cheer them up quickly. "Frostkit, Snowykit!" The tabby tom mewed in happiness, sticking his tongue out at the two kits. Sometimes he was even more immature then the future warriors. "How are you all doing, having some fun on this great day?" Stormfall smiled at them.

Snowkit shook herself and squeled,
"Yeah! Except for falling into the brook." Leafkit purred,
"Yeah! And it was funny when you got all wet." She giggled and Snowykit and raced over to her and leaped on her, pinning her down easily.
"Ha!" Frostkit just squeezed out of Dancingsnow's paws adn raced over to Stormfall, leaping onto him at full sprint, Snowkit, Lightkit and finnaly, after shaking herself, Snowykit. Dancing snow purred and
"I am doing great, thanks, just taking these kits out for a walk." She paused, getting up and getting to see the four kits jump on Stormfall.

A breeze swept through the moores as a brown and white she-cat gracefully made her way through the territory. her green eyes scanned the land for prey. A mouse moved in the brush not far away, and that had caught Willowstar's attention, her eyes got focused as she started stalking towards the mouse, keeping low to the ground and waited for the perfect moment to strike. The mouse was getting it's daily lunch, not aware that there was a cat stalking it, waiting for it to move perfectly so she can sink her teeth into it's flesh. it kinda sounded harsh, but willowstar would do anything to keep her clan strong and healthy.

The mouse made a move and Willowstar knew this was he chance, she sped out of her hiding place and after the mouse, before it could even react she had already pounced on it, sinking he teeth into it's neck. She smiled with sastifaction as she dug a hole and stuck the mouse in it. Covering it up she started towards the brook to wash up. A scent hit her and she knew her clanmates were here to. A smile formed on her face as Stormfall and Dancingsnow came into veiw, with all her little kits piling ontop of poor Stormfall. She walked down the slope and came up to them. "Good morning Stormfall, Dancingsnow, Snowkit, Frostkit, Leafkit, and Lightkit." she greeted.

Snowykit looked up imediatly, ears pricked.
"It's Willowstar!" She mewed excitedly, racing away as if she had all the energy in the world. She ran up to her and sat down between her paws. "Good morning leader." She purred with her head on Willowstar's ankle. Dancingsnow laughed and purred a greating, Lightkit mewed a swift greating and Leafkit and Frostkit sang at the same moment,
"Hello!" A bird started singing above them and Leafkit jumped at the sudden sound. Dancingsnow looked up to see a bluejay sitting on a branch of a tree which grew beside the water. The branch cast a small dapled shadow on the water with danced in the sun and darkness like bugs.
