Ravenwing walked out of the splashclan camp and went to the misty stream. He then waited for his friend Mapleheart. After a while of waiting he decied to go into the stream for a swim. He then saw a fish so close to him and he then got it into his mouth and went to shore and then killed it so it couldn't get away. He then shock his pelt and waited for his friend again. I wonder whats taking her so long? he thought to himself.

The ginger she-cat rushed through camp in a hurry, she had just got back from a patrol and remembered that she was suppose to meet Ravenwing at the misty stream. She deposited her vole she caught and rushed back out of camp. She ran through the forest, making sure to dodge trees and roots that plunged out of the ground. Her and Ravenwing have been friends for as long as she could remember, she was pretty sure it was back in apprentice days. They were different, he was quiet and sensative and she was spunky and out-going. She saw the black pelt of her buddy appear and a big smile formed on her face as she rushed up to him and taking him by surprise. Hi Ravenwing! Sorry i was late but i was on patrol and it took forever! But i made it. she exclaimed and sat down beside him. she had noticed his wet pelt and tilted her head. your wet Ravenwing. Going fishing?

The black tom just purred with amusment and shock his head. "no i was swiming when the fish wasn't smart enough to stay away from me. So it was an easy catch."he meowed pointing to the fish on the other side of him. He then licked his chest fur and nodded. "it's alright that your late. What you want to do?"he meowed as he looked at his friend waiting for her reply.

Mapleheart smiled brightly at Ravenwing and purred, That's why i love you Ravenwing. she giggled and started to walk around in circle, eager to do something. The lightbulb buzzed in her head as an idea came to play, she smiled and looked at Ravenwing. Let's play tag! she purred, tapping him with her tail, Tag! your it! she exclaimed as she started through the forest doefging trees, trying to get away from Ravenwing. She loved playing game with him, he was fun to hang around most of the time, he was really one of her good friends. She stopped and hid behind a tree, peeking out behind it to see if he was anywhere near.

Ravenwing purred with amusment and got up and ran after her and then found her. He then taged her. "I got you! I love you too Mapleheart."he meowed with a purr. He then got to his paws. "your it!"he meowed as he ran away from her. He to a push and looked over to see if she would get him.

MApleheart was taken by surprise with Ravenwing gaining up on her and tagging her. Sh giggled as he hurried off and she followed him through the dense forest, this really wasn't what a warrior did in their free time, but they were different, they had fun while they did their warrior duties. She came across a lone mouse scrumming through the forest floor and grinned. she got down in her hunter pose and stalked up on the small critter, her eyes were glued on the small brown body. grinning she leapt up in the air and came down quiet gracefully on the mouse's back, she sunk her long teeth into it and killed it instantly. SHe dug a hole and burried it, meaning to come back for it after their little game.
She wondered through the forest and saw that black pelt behind a tree, she grinned and skipped up to Ravenwing and tapped him with her tail, Gotcha! she screamed and ran off into the woods.

Ravenwing purred with amusment and saw her run off. He then fallowed her and saw a rabbit and stalked it and got ready to pounce. He then leaped onto the rabbit's back before it was able to run away and killed it quickly. He then covered it to come back for it later and then went on after Mapleheart. He then found her and taged her with his black tail. "and i got you!"he meowed and then ran off away from her.

Mapleheart was sure she had escaped Ravenwing, but he found her. and so the chace began, She sped across the forest floor, laughter danced in her eyes as she found him and tagged him with her tail, she started off in a run but her foot pressed on a soft spot along the small cliff and she went tumbling down with the dirt, it really was that long of a fall, the water broke her fall as she spalshed in. She paddled her way up and surfaced, gasping for breath, her lungs burned from the water that she inhaled as she she coughed and found her way out of the stream. She heaved her body on the shore and layed down, her breathing was hard and ragid, but she knew she had not broken anything and she was ok, just a little exahusted, she looked up at ravenwing and shrugged her shoulders.

Ravenwing then layed beside her and licked her fur clean and dry. "you alright Mappleheart?"he meowed worried about her. Please tell me shes ok please starclan! he thought to himself. He then watched her and waited for a reply.

Mapleheart rolled her eyes and pushed Ravenwing off, she sat up and sighed, I'm fine, just all wet.....Eww. she commented as she looked down at herself and saw water and dirt all over her. great, she took a tumble and now she's gonna have to was all of that out. She frowned and looked up at ravenwing with her lip puffed out, My pelt is...is... ruined! she exclamed and started scratching over her fpelt with her foot, getting debree out of her pelt so it can be easier. She padded over to the stream and got in the shallow part, for a cat who just to a dive into the water she was back in it again, scrubbing the stupid mud off her. it's ncie that you cared ravenwing. she smiled over to him.

Ravenwing just nodded and padded over to her and waited till she finished with cleaning her pelt. "your welcome."meowed the black tom. He then rapted his tail around his paws and licked his chest fur a few times. When should I tell her how I really feel about her? he thought to himself as he watched her clean herself off as he waited for her finish.

Ravenwing watched her clean herself, he seemed lost in his own thoughts. mapleheart did that all the time, she thought and wondered off to much. She gave her pelt one last shake and got up off her hutches and sighed. So Ravenwing, what do you want to do today? she purred and looked around. it was pretty day, the sun was up and shining and wildlife was all around them, she couldn't help but smile and stick her nose in the air to take in the awesome sensation. She glances over at Ravenwing and thought. i wonder if he know... she bit her lip and look away. yeah, she could say that she had feeling for the tom. She enjoyed her time with Ravenwing and hopped to someday become more...but she was waiting on him to make the first move, it was only right.

Ravenwing shock his head then thought about it. "what ever you want to do Mapleheart."he meowed licking his chest fur. He then walked over to her and rubbed his pelt against hers. "I don't know how to tell you, but I need to tell you how i feel..."he meowed then toke a deep breath. "Mapleheart, I love you, more then friends."he meowed then sighed not sure how she was going to take that.

If the she-cat could blush, she would have. Ravenwing was all around handsome and caring and he had just admitted his true feelings for her. She shuffled her paws and smiled brightly, mapleheart has been waiting for this day for a while, and it was here, right in front of her. She needed to respond, it was bad for She-cats to hesitate when a tom asked them to be their mate. She brought her greed gaze up to his eyes and nodded, butterflies fluttered in her stomach as he brushed up against her. She placed her head under his Chin and purred, Ravenwing....You don't know how long I've waited to hear that. she purred and closed her eyes, i have loved you since we were silly apprentices, and i still do, there is never a day that goes by that i don't think about us being together. i was just waiting for you to make the move. she admitted. It felt good to get that off her chest.

Ravenwing purred and licked his mate's ear. "I always love you too mapleheart since we where apprentices too."he meowed licking her ear again. He loved her alot and would always love her. "I'll always love you."meowed the black warrior.
