Tiny nodded grabbing one of the mice. She flicked her tale nearly falling on Swift's foot.
---
Wolf grabbed the other mouse and ran up next to Tiny snikering as he saw her loose her balance.

Snowstar looked at the arriving warriors and nodded. "Take Rainmist back to camp" she ordered. She turned and followed swift's scent. She wanted to speak to him. "Swift" she mewed, seeing him in the valley.

Swift hissed to Wolf and Tiny, "Wolf, grab the rabbit and run into that cave. Eat, ok? You can share the rabbit if you are still hungry, but do not come out until I say so. Got it?" Turning around the voice of Snowstar casually as if nothing was really happening he asked coolly, "What are you doing out of your territory?" He sat down nose to nose with her with his round soft eyes gazing into Snowstar, as if old friends. His mind swirled as fast as his thundering heart, beating faster, stronger, and getting faster, stronger, faster and faster like a rabbit's paws went as a predator was coming closer. It was as if a mountain lion stood before him, huge golden eyes trained on him, giant talon-like claws that could kill Wolf or Tiny, or him in one easy flick. Huge golden pelt, hiding thick muscles to it's legs, heart and lungs. Snake-like fangs that cut through fur, skin, flesh and bones, with muscles to control them. The lion's whip-like tail going down, then curving at the black tip. Fear accelerated his heart, anger bubbling up from it. Cold images of his paws splashed with blood, tasting it, feeling it, smelling it, seeing it and seeing the limp snowy body of Snowstar before him, her last dying breath catching blood and pooling it around her muzzle. Her blue, star-filled eyes glazed with pain, fear, anger and confusion. The thought that crossed his mind looking down on the frail she-cat who used to look as powerful as a lioness, cowering, dying before him was to much to bear. The thought penetrated his cool gaze, giving it a flicker of fear, but quickly vanished a moth struggling in the water, then snatched and eaten by a fish.

Soft blue eyes studied the tom. She had feelings for him, a leader in love with a loner. "I wanted to talk" she mewed, about my feelings she added silently. She noticed a small flicker of fear in his eyes, was he frightened of her. The muscualar she-cat sat in front of him, wrapping her tail over her paws.

Swift Opened his mouth say something, nothing came out, then finnillay catching words he mewed, "I'm all ears." He felt vonerable at that moment, weakened. Her Intence gaze seemed to have greater power than than power over a small group, they seemed to have the true power of a leader, and he, even though called a loner and banished to the far corner of the forest to live alone, or with his trio, his new family, was her subject. Swift never felt like that before, his family came from a line of cats who seemed to 'Rule' all of which had to coward beneath Midnight, since all else suffered great pain pain, and even death. Only few escaped her mighty claws, with their lives intact. I have only herd of one who lived at least a day after, since the others died of blood-loss, trauma, basicly their enimies. He was a great friend, until chased away into the twolegplace because of the Clan, That rounds back to her. Leader of the Clan called AshClan, the ones with swift minds and sharp claws. "Should I trust her?" he asked again silently, "She is from a Clan who is feared by the other Clans, and I do have two six-moon old kittens just behind me in that cave." He growled in his head. Why not trust her? She doesn't seem cruel. She didn't raise a claw to her defense, sure some tight words maybe, not sharp though, no one got hurt, except that stranger lying with three paws on the ground. He wished there was a simple answer to all this mess, I wish I could be left alone to train hsi new kittens and to let peace fill the air instead of tension. His mind snapped back into place seconds after he said the words, taking that time time to think.
